Last Friday, I bought my first DSLR camera: A Canon Rebel T3 with a EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5.5.6 IS II lens; this is one of the first outdoor test shots I took after turning it on. The photo itself is nothing special, but I thought it was worth documenting as a milestone!

I have plenty to learn, but the difference in my photos is already night and day and I’ve barely even gotten a chance to use it. I’m so excited to dig in and learn my way around everything this camera can do!
